When did realize you wanted to make a career out of illustrating?
In 2009 I was asked if I could do cover artwork for one nu-metal band… And I thought to myself “Then, why not?”

What difficulties have you faced in transitioning into becoming a professional illustrator?
I can’t tell I had to face any special difficulties during my career. Maybe sometimes there were some unthankful and rude clients. Or frankly crazy, but I should say it’s more like an advantage). It surely adds some fun).

What do you like the least about it?
I don't like to deal with stubborn idiots, with people who don’t even try to understand you. It happens rarely, but still it happens.

By Mosaeye Art&design How do you go about selecting your subject matter for personal work? What do you tend to gravitate towards?
It depends on my mood. More often I feel like leaning towards something dark, something hardly explainable. But of course it’s somewhat different with my commercial works.
