Introduce us to Virus of Ideals?

We are a 5 piece metal band that features both clean female and harsh male vocals, story-driven lyrics, and strong melodies. We have been compared to Epica, Dark Tranquillity, Scar Symmetry, and Nightwish, among others.

What are lyrical themes of Virus of Ideals?

Our lyrics are story-driven but often cover a number of topics, such as mortality vs immortality and choosing to do what is right even if the consequences for doing so are severe.

What are your influences?

European melodic death and symphonic metal.

What does the future hold for New Album?

We just released our debut EP, titled "For All My Earthly Days". We will be supporting that EP for a while before recording our first album.

Are there any countries you’re interested in touring or performing in? Why?

Anywhere in Europe would be a dream come true: Germany, Finland, Sweden...Many bands we love are from those countries and the people there really love metal.

What bands would you like to play alongside?

Any band that has inspired us, including but not limited to Amorphis, Soilwork, Scar Symmetry, and Nightwish
