Assimilation, Death/Thrash Metal Band from Canada
Assimilation is Vancouver's premiere old school inspired death/thrash band. Jesse Jardine, the founding member, started the band in 2011 as the grind variant, Ceaseless Discharge. After many lineup changes and after developing a more cohesive and focused sound, the name of the band was changed to Assimilation. Lyrical themes about: Horror, Mythology, Personal Strength, Power.
Jesse took over all vocal duties. The next step was recruiting Stephen Shaw from local death metal legends, Sinned, on drums. After the release of their first EP, Apotheosis, we recruited Shiloh Anderson on bass and Matt Chanway on lead guitar to round out the new, more focused sound. Look out for our upcoming full length, The Laws Of Power, dropping late 2016!
