Reviews: The Unwritten – Insight

EP Debut from Spanish Progressive Metal Band. I reviews this EP track by track. Check it out.

1st track, Instinct. ¾ Tempo and sick jazz guitar solo. The vocals are soft at the beginning and from soft vocals become harsh vocals. 2nd track, Martyr. The Jazz elements on this song are insane and female vocals made this song more beauty. Modern Metal meet 50s Jazz. This song was a lot Jazz, 85% Jazz and 15% Metal. 3rd track, Compunction. Started with Noise effect sounds. This song like Meshuggah, but with a lot Jazz elements and Clean vocals. The riffs are heavier, but not sharp. 4th track, Nostalgia. This song combine Jazz and Classic music perfectly. Yeah, the composition very Math and sick. 5th track, Vertigo. The guitar licks very 80s Progressive. This song very Melodic, Epic Jazz, and a lot Harsh vocals. Although short duration, but they were present insane progressive metal song.

The Cover Art is Great and the music composition was Insane. Like Meshuggah but the riffs are not Sharper and with some clean vocals.
Magnificent Progressive Album with 5 tracks.
Score: 98%
