Reviews: Open The Nile – Levity
2nd EP from New York
Progressive Death Metal Band. I reviews this EP track by track. Check it out.
1st track, Viral Colors. Many elements
combine perfectly on this song, such as Jazz, Brutal Death, In Flames, and Funk.
Great opening song. 2nd track, Human Alchemy. The riffs are
dirt, the vocals are rather Black Metal and dark atmosphere on this song made
this song very awesome. Great dark song. 3rd track, Introspection.
I though this song very The Black Dahlia Murder, but with some clean vocals,
progressive and symphonic elements. The drums composition very neat and acoustic
guitar licks on the outro it’s so very delight. 4th track, Levity.
I think this song was very Avant-Garde Metal. The composition very abstract and
changeable. 50% clean and 50% Death Metal. It’s very magnificent. 5th
track, Walls of Sina. Brutal song with melancholic atmosphere. The
vocals very heterogeneous, from Brutal, Shriek, Fry until Clean vocals. And the
song rather dark.
Magnificent EP!!!!
Score: 100%
