Split Album between Fister and Teeth. Released on April 29th, 2016
For those paying attention to the ominous signs in the stars, you have
already been warned. Two immense sonic forces, dripping darkness and
seething with potential, have joined their might on a brand new split
release from New York label Broken Limbs, available April 29th, 2016. St. Louis, Missouri three piece doom act Fister, racking up win after win with its progressively addicting musical offerings, pair perfectly with California death/doom group TEETH.
"Fister has been showing no mercy since 2009. The blackened doom/sludge unit has put out two full lengths (Bronsonic and Gemini) as well as a several splits (Good Friday, Violence). Fister is known for their sonic brutality and vicious vocals. But also for their moody as hell drone that could make walls weep blood." - Metal Injection
"...unrelenting, uncompromising and most of all already unmistakably TEETH." - Metal Bandcamp

FISTER: Fister is a trio doom metal act from St. Louis, Missouri. The band incorporates heavy influences from the black and death metal genres into a depressing sludge spewing heaviness that many have attempted but few have mastered. Over
the last six years Fister has put out over ten releases. The band has
done nearly seven weeks of touring in 2015 both stateside and in Europe
in support of it's latest LP IV, one 44 minute
track filled with Fister's finest display of death worshipping
depravity. 2016 is starting off with a slew of new releases including
splits with Teeth, Dopethrone, Beneath Oblivion, and Everything Went
Black.
Fister is -
Marcus Newstead: Guitar/Vocals
Kenny Snarzyk: Bass/Vocals

TEETH: Multi-instrumentalists Justin Moore and Erol
Ulug originally formed Teeth as a side project from grind band Wageslave
to explore slower more visceral, doom-like tempi. After writing a
full-length's worth of material, the group enlisted Tim Gaskin on drums
and Peter King on bass to complete the lineup. Debut LP Unremittence,
released in November 2014, showcased Teeth's penchant for mixing death
and doom metal with strikingly dissonant chords. A 2015 tour throughout
Southern California saw drummer Vincent Nguyen added to the roster. In
addition to its split with Fister, Teeth plans for additional records in
2016.
TEETH is -
Erol Ulug: Guitar/Vocals
Peter Krajavic: Bass
Vincent Nguyen: Drums
Justin Moore: Guitar/Vocals
